This study is looking into the online information-seeking needs, experiences and motivations of individuals. The study will focus on online information-seeking theory, and the practical information needs and experiences of all individuals.

Study review

This study at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, is examining how individuals use the Internet to get information about breast and ovarian cancer.
The researchers were looking to enroll at least 300 volunteers. The Call to Action for this study was sent to Army of Women members on March 24, 2010. The researchers were able to close enrollment on April 14, 2010, after the Army of Women provided them with 10,933 women and men who were interested in enrolling in the study.
